Dallas City Council Member Dwaine Caraway is expected to make a public endorsement of Farouk Shami in his bid to become Texas Governor.  Shami is vying for the nomination against former Houston Mayor Bill White.

Caraway will make his announcement tonight at the Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance of Greater Dallas 45th Annual C.A.W. Clark Human Relations Banquet.  The banquet will be held at The Dallas Trade Mart where Shami is expected to attend a make remarks.
