The Dallas Police Department is requesting the public’s help in identifying suspects in five similar robbery offenses occurring in the area of Scyene Road and South Buckner Boulevard. Two of the robberies occurred at the same time as the victims were walking together.
The robberies are all similar in that the same type property was taken and the targeted victims are in their mid-to-late teens. During two of the incidents, a handgun was pointed at the victims.

On each occasion the victim was approached by one or two Latin males between the ages of 18 and 25. One of the suspects may have tattoos on his arm. The suspect vehicle was seen on three occasions and is described as a black pick-up truck with tinted windows.
Anyone who can help identify these suspects is asked to call the Dallas Police Gang Unit at (214)671-GANG (4264) or call 911. Information can also be sent through the internet or your mobile phone by using the “iWatchDallas.net” application.
Members of the public traveling in this area should always practice the following common safety tips:
- Always be aware of your surroundings and people who may be approaching you.
- Listen to your instincts. If you feel something is not right, make your way to a safe location and call the police.
- Travel with friends.
- Avoid becoming so distracted that you are unaware of what is happening around you.
- Don’t display valuables in a manner that make you an appealing target for a criminal.
