Today, CVS/pharmacy and Direct Relief International teamed up to offer free flu shots to existing uninsured patients of the Healing Hands Medical & Dental Clinic in Dallas, Texas. Healing Hands patients received their annual flu vaccination, administered by on-site CVS pharmacists.
This flu season, CVS/pharmacy partnered with Direct Relief USA for a second year, offering up to $6 million in free flu shots to community clinic and health center patients across the country who lack health insurance to ensure that cost is not a barrier to receiving a vaccination during the flu season.
