A blue ribbon panel of industry “eggsperts” (get it?) which included myself served as judges at the event.  Other judges included:

  • Laird Morgan, executive chef of Texas Scottish Rite Hospital
  • Steve Shenkel, vice president of operations from Schepps Dairy
  • Ed Murph, Norma’s Cafe owner and cafeteur

The grand prize winner was Kathryn Diaz who received an omelet party for eight. Her omelet will also be featured on the famous Norma’s Cafe breakfast menu for the month of June.
