Well, in fact, some time ago Tom Leppert told us how he used the office of mayor to stand against the gay rights agenda. He talked about leading on immigration. Somehow, he forgot to mention that when he was seeking and when he got the ACORN endorsement, that he pledged to keep Dallas as a sanctuary city. He also said he didn’t go there and that on the only issue of his mayoral tenure that came close to that subject matter — towing cars of uninsured motorists, which some council members feared would be unfairly used against minorities, where he was a supporter…. Just think about it.
