The Journey of a Young Lady brunch is packed with words of wisdom, great conversation, a fashion show, door prizes, gifts, food, and laughter.  This year’s guest speaker will be Trenette Wilson, Founder/CEO UrbanGirlz, Inc.,  and Author of  “Designers Daughter.”

Also, special guest Ladies “Tee Time” League, Inc.  Professional Women’s Golf League, and the Ina Mae Greene Foundation for Domestic Violence. April is National Child Abuse Prevention, and Sexual
Assault Abuse Awareness Month.  Statistics show abused children are 25% more likely to experience
teen pregnancy, and 30% percent will later abuse their own children, continuing the horrible cycle.

Tamera Nalls, CEO/Founder of Journey of a Young Lady, a leadership organization for Teen Ladies ages 13-19, recognizes the importance of keeping the lines of communication open.  For the past three years Journey has hosted the Generational “Tea Time” for Grandmothers, Mothers, Daughters, Mentors, Mentees, and Friends.

Young ladies have the opportunity to display their etiquette, and social skills while enjoying the comradery of other ladies.   You don’t want to miss this exciting event! Come join Journey and together we can make a difference in the lives of our young ladies.
