The NFL Experience’s first Saturday was full of fun and excitement for fans in North Texas.  The NFL Experience is 850,000 square feet of interactive games and sports memorabilia for the young and young at heart.  Fans are able to experience all the NFL has to offer…starting with a recreation of the NFL Draft where fans can have their picture taken with their “new team” jersey.

Along with running sprints and endurance drills at training camp in the NFL Sponsor Zone, getting a feel for what the player experiences by throwing passes and kicking field goals in the NFL  Play Zone, to shopping and dining.  There was literally something there for everyone.  Fans are even able take their picture with their favorite team’s “action” pose, and of course there was a line for everyone’s beloved Dallas Cowboys, some of which were on hand for the event.

Roy Williams, Tashard Choice, and the world famous Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders were available for autographs and photos,  and former Dallas Cowboys fan favorite George Hegamin was there to lend his coaching skills to the 40 yard dash drill in the training camp section.

Not only was it a place to experience the action of the NFL, shopping was available for those who wanted a souvenir from one of the league’s premier events.  Along with the NFL Shop, the memorabilia section had everything a sports enthusiast could imagine, from autographed helmets and jerseys to trading cards, magnets and key chains.  There were also several silent auctions taking place for fans to bid on autographed posters, footballs, jerseys, and helmets.

We can’t forget the rings…oh the rings!  All the rings from every Super Bowl winner leading up to Super Bowl XLV were on display for all to see.  It’s safe to say the NFL Experience was exactly that, a way for fans to experience all things NFL and a family outing that everyone is sure to enjoy.
