The Kimball Knights were too much for the Richardson Berkner Rams to handle on Wednesday night.  In a game that featured sloppy play and an inordinate amount of turnovers (plus missed free throws) Kimball simply rolled through the smaller, younger Rams winning 75-64.

The Kimball duo of Jarion Henry and Jordan Williams scored on an assortment of dunks, wild moves and jumpers with each taking turns dominating the game. Henry lead off by scoring eight of Kimball’s first 10 points and finishing the first half with 12 points in route to his 22 point game high total. Kimball led this one from beginning to end with their largest lead being 16 points.
Williams was at his best in the 4th quarter, scoring 10 of his 17 points, six of which were on high flying, crowd pleasing dunks as the Knights pulled away late.  Williams and Henry were joined in double figures by Austin Franklin with 14 Points. The Rams had 3 players in double figures, Kendall Harris with 16, Jordan Mickey with 15 and Soma Edo 12, all sophomores.

The Boys championship game tonight between Lincoln and Kimball is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m at Ellis Davis Fieldhouse. While the 3rd place game between DeSoto and Berkner will begin at approximately 4:30. Also, don’t miss out on the Girls championship game with state ranked DeSoto and Frisco Wakeland squaring off at 6 PM. The Girls third place game will feature two of DISD’s finest girls programs with Skyline facing Lincoln at 3:00.
