I can say with great certainty that you don’t want to miss our October edition of Must Read Monday, which is setting up to be one of the best we’ve ever had. For those who don’t know, MRM is on the first Monday of each month and we post a new piece of information to the site each hour.

Most of the highest traffic days we’ve seen are on Must Read Monday and some of our most memorable posts have been produced as well, including Single Black Women: Admire Them and Leave Them Alone by Jeff Bolton and Don’t Ask Me Not To Tell: A Soldier’s Story by Michael Counter, Jr.

This coming Monday includes:

• An interview with Dallas County District Attorney Craig Watkins

• A review of the new film Waiting For Superman and a recap of a Town Hall held with Rep. Rafael Anchia and Michael Sorrell held after a screening of the movie.

• Highlights from this weekend’s Kimball/South Oak Cliff game

• Video feature on Curtis Ferguson and his Man Up male mentoring organization

• A close up look at Westhaven Park

Also, new Dallas South News donors will have a chance to receive tickets to Dallas Black Dance Theater’s production of Dance Africa on Friday.  Make sure to check us out early and often this Monday.
