I am crushed to hear the words of Helen Thomas revealed at a recent press conference about Isreal. This was a woman whom I respected and admired all the years of her career as a vital Washington DC reporter.

It was an ignorant and uninformed response to the broadcasters question. She should be fired and severely reprimanded for her inflammatory comment !

Hurst is reporting that she just retired. She’s been the crazy cat lady of the press corps for the last decade. She should have retired while she still had a reputation.
