One day before the start of Spring, the remnants of winter buried Dallas under a blanket of snow. Monday morning, March 22nd, as the snow melted away, Spring hesitantly reared its head, and so did our hope for warmer temperatures, capri pants, and the new season of Glee. Well, maybe that last statement was more for me than you, but nevertheless, it seems like we have all been anxiously awaiting the new season.

Popular radio has already started playing party anthems to prepare us for block parties and cookouts. Fashion runways have ushered in the season’s new trends. And here at Dallas South News, we’re going to help you get your proverbial house in order.

April’s edition of Must Read Monday hits the site on April 5th. Our them is “Spring Cleaning” and our contributors will discuss not just the importance of cleaning out your closet and finally putting away those last few Christmas decorations, but also the importance of maintaining a healthy spiritual life as presented by Pastor Michael Waters.

And it’s true; some people are in your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. For all of those Saturdays to come when you’ll be dusting and buffing and rearranging your life for the new season, Lorrie Irby will offer us advice about the need to keep our relationships healthy. More importantly, Irby will help us understand just why we need to know when to let go of poor or unhealthy partners or friends. These are just a couple of the conversations that will be available for April’s “Must Read Monday.”

‘Til then, get your Windex ready and turn on your house cleaning playlist, grab a seat in front of your laptop or desktop (Mac or PC…we don’t judge here.), and let DSN help you embrace Spring with a few helpful tools from The Crew.

Lookout for teasers and tidbits of April’s “MRM” articles on Facebook and Twitter. Your interest is sure to blossom.

Happy Spring,
