Dallas County Judge Jim Foster responds to Constable Cortes petition for removal:
“This petition is laughable, baseless, and without foundation. I am fighting to rid Dallas County of corruption and wrongdoing while Cortes sits in his lawyer’s office trying to think of more ways to get publicity and stand in front of TV cameras and pontificate. The investigators uncovered so many problems they had a hard time keeping the report at a reasonable length.
I want to thank the citizens of Dallas for standing with me and encouraging me as we continue together to demand open and transparent government.”
