Pastor Stephen Broden has garnered support all across the 30th District by going neighbor-to-neighbor and also speaking at small gatherings hosted by residents of the district. Broden shares with them his belief that success lies in economic opportunity and job creation. And The Dallas Morning News said “Broden offered the best business-friendly vision for job creation.”
In addition, Broden opposes a government run healthcare system and is a fervent believer in freedom and personal liberty. Broden is a champion of education and educational choice, believing that education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty.
(Broaden) has lived and worked in the 30th district for over 30 years and can show the residents of the district that he is the better choice to bring economic development and jobs. The Dallas Morning News stated that “The Fair Park Bible Fellowship pastor has a 32-year history of community involvement and leadership in the district unmatched by his opponents.”
Pastor Broden is a nationally-recognized conservative spokesperson. He has spoken about the healthcare crisis and government overreach on a variety of national media programs, including The Huckabee Show, Fox and Friends, The Glenn Beck Show, and James Robison’s Life Today. Pastor Broden also has been speaking out against abortion since 1983 and is a chief spokesman for the Black Pro-Life Movement.
Broden has been a conservative Republican for about 30 years. Among the Republican awards he has received, are the Ronald Reagan Gold Medal Award and “Champion of the Republican Party” from the NRCC Business Advisory Council.
In closing, the Dallas Morning News said “We recommend that voters in the Republican primary March 2 nominate Broden to take his economic development ideas into the fall election against Johnson.”
