Paul Quinn hosts New Media v Old Media panel Tuesday night at Tigers’ Den Lounge

Paul Quinn College has initiated a Black History Month program titled “Tuesdays in February”.  According to Paul Quinn President Michael Sorrell, “It is designed to provide our students with opportunities to engage noted individuals in conversations on a variety of topics.”

On Tuesday night, a panel discussion will take place under the heading “New Media v. Old Media: Does Either Make a Difference for African-Americans?”  The program will start at 7 p.m. at Paul Quinn’s Tigers’ Den Lounge in the Student Union.

The panel will consist of  Shon Gables of WFAA Channel 8, Gromer Jeffers, Jr. of the Dallas Morning News, and Shawn Williams of Dallas South News.  Cheryl Smith of the Dallas Weekly will be serve as the moderator.  The event is open to the public.
