Today, as promised to core supporters, friends and family almost one year ago, Clay Jenkins, candidate for Dallas County Judge, has filed to bring new leadership and a new day to the office of Dallas County Judge.

“Leadership requires the balance of managing our current challenges while positioning our county for a healthy, prosperous and bright future,” said Jenkins.

“It is time to bring a new day to Dallas County by building consensus and capitalizing on the diversity and proud heritage of our people. The issues we face are common among all citizens of Dallas County – security, economic development, ensuring greater access to health care, a fully compliant justice system and cleaning up the air we breathe,” said Jenkins.

Since his announcement in March, the Jenkins campaign continues to gain momentum. The campaign has garnered the support of over 85 Democratic precinct chairs, every elected Democratic official that has endorsed in the county judge race and the endorsement of the Dallas County AFL-CIO.
