It is great to see the advertising world taking notice of the hard work and dedication of Southside on Lamar’s own Lincoln Stephens. Lincoln was recently featured in a web video at the Advertising Age website. Ad Age is one of the most powerful publications in the advertising industry.

Here’s what Ad Age had to say about Lincoln:
Former agency account exec Lincoln Stephens is both an example and an evangelist of the “Boomerang” effect. A year ago Stephens abruptly quit his Chicago agency job, moved back to his hometown of Dallas and, on a shoestring budget, launched a program (The Marcus Graham Project) to recruit, train and motivate talented young African Americans for advertising agency jobs.

Hopefully this will help Lincoln get the type of exposure that his work deserves. You can also seem more about the project by reading the DSN article on the Marcus Graham Projects “Green Period” which was the culmination of last year’s MGP internship program.
