Eric Johnson, candidate for U.S. House District 100 Representative continues to bring in large amounts of cash in his efforts to unseat Rep. Terri Hodge.  But Johnson may tell you it’s the small sums that have added up for his campaign.

On Monday Johnson announced that he has raised over $100,000 in less than four months since filing his campaign treasurer.  According to his campaign, he has nearly doubled the largest six month total ever raised by a TX House 100 candidate.  Over 75% of Johnson’s contributors are individuals who gave $100 or less.

This fast start has allowed Johnson to have a visible presence around the district, putting up signs throughout South Dallas (including a huge banner above the MLK Green Line stop).  “As I talk with my neighbors, I am finding that they are excited about the prospect of real change coming to House District 100,” Johnson says.

Looks like Johnson is taking in more dollar bills than change in his bid to replace Rep. Hodge.
