Posted by Jim Reid of Momentum Texas, Inc. has launched a business plan competition to promote businesses in Southern Dallas. There are two categories for the contest: Start Up businesses planned to launch in 2009 and newly established businesses open for 0-2 years. Winners will receive $2,000 – $4,000 in cash grants and services to help grow their businesses.
Businesses will be considered if they operate or wish to start a business in Southern Dallas. This area is defined as Dallas City Limits, south of the Trinity River, west of downtown, south of Interstate I-30, and east of downtown Dallas.
The two winners of this contest will be announced during the week of October 26, 2009. Winners must be present to collect their award.
