Welcome event for Veterans planned for Dallas Zoo

The United States Department of Veterans Affairs, The Dallas Zoo and the City of Dallas are proud to present a special Welcome Home event for OEF/OIF Veterans.

This special event will be held at the Dallas Zoo on Saturday, September 12 from 10 am – 2 pm.

Veterans and 3 family members will be provided free admission to the Zoo. (Children 2 and under free).

Food coupons will be handed out so Veterans and their families can enjoy lunch at the Zoo. Veterans must bring their military ID or VA card, required for admittance.

This event is presented by VA North Texas Health Care System, Dallas Zoo and the City of Dallas.
