Washington, DC – (August 21, 2009) Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson will hold a townhall on proposed changes to the Dallas Main Post Office Processing and Distribution Center on Monday, August 24. A recent study conducted by the United States Postal Service recommended the transfer of outgoing mail processing operations from the Dallas Main Post Office to Coppell, TX.
Dallas Mayor Tom Leppert, State Senator Royce West, and representatives from the United States Postal Service and the Dallas Regional Chamber will join Congresswoman Johnson at the townhall. Shawn Williams of Dallas South News will serve as moderator.
