A few moments ago I learned that we’ll have a guest in the building on Wednesday August 19 when Governor Rick Perry drops by Opening Bell Coffee to chat with his supporters.  Perry is expected to speak with 50 or so supporters, but that number will obviously grow by tomorrow once word gets out.

Details are kind of sketchy because this is supposed to be a “grassroots” visit with 4 or 5 stops.  A call made by Dallas South News to Governor Perry’s campaign office that he will be in town.   Perry is expected to stop at Southside on Lamar between 3 and 3:30 pm on Wednesday.

I find it quite interesting that Perry will be in Dallas the day after his opponent in the Republican Primary comes to town.  Coincidence?  I doubt it.
